Buick Regal TourX Named a Dog-Friendly Vehicle

When you want to take your canine companion with you a road trip adventure, you need a vehicle that can comfortably carry you and your furry friend. According to an Autotrader study, the 2019 Buick Regal TourX is one of the best cars to drive your dog in.

The dog-friendly vehicle has a number of features that are beneficial for you and your pet. The Regal TourX has available leather seating, which makes it easier to clean off dog hair and dirt when compared to regular cloth seats. It also possesses a low cargo area, making it more accessible for dogs with shorter legs to climb into the vehicle.

The Regal TourX also has plenty of available cargo space, thanks to the available 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats. Plus, the cargo floor is level, so you can easily bring a crate or bed for your dog to relax in. Available cargo area tie-downs also help keep your other cargo in place.

Additional useful features for dog lovers are rear air vents, which keep the interior cooler. The suspension also makes the ride smoother so you and your dog can better relax. We at Sterling Buick GMC hope you and your pet have a fun and safe adventure in the 2019 Buick Regal TourX. Discover more convenient and innovative features when you take the crossover out for a test drive.

2020 Buick Encore GX Coming Soon

General Motors is slowly doling out details on the newest edition of the Buick Encore crossover. The Encore has been the Buick brand’s best-selling model for three years in a row, and here at Sterling Buick GMC, we can’t wait to see the newest version.

At the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show, Buick unveiled two versions, the Encore and the Encore GX. Both will likely be available in the Chinese market, since China is the automaker’s largest market, but it looks as if the Encore GX will replace the regular Encore here in the U.S.

The new Encore GX has a wheelbase that’s about 3.4 inches longer than current generations of the Encore. It sits on the new VSS-F platform that GM plans to use on many of its future models to simplify manufacturing and engineering so that better-differentiated designs reach customers more quickly around the world.

GM says the 2020 Encore GX will arrive with an eighth-generation Ecotec engine and two transmission options: a nine-speed Hydra-Matic automatic or a CVT. Although GM didn’t provide specs for the Encore GX, it says this new model will be more efficient than the outgoing Encore.

It’s not clear yet when the 2020 Encore GX will arrive at dealerships, so stay tuned for more info!
